About The Film

The War Inside Me is a film that follows the journey of Ayen, a 28 year old refugee from South Sudan who is searching for her missing family members. She currently lives in Uganda with her three children, niece and nephew. Ayen goes on an incredible journey to search for 3 people in a sea of hundreds of thousands of refugees in the world's largest refugee settlement camp, located in Northern Uganda. Ayen's entire life has been ravaged by war, and she shares the unspeakable tragedies that she has lived through. With a smile on her face and hope in heart, she sets out to find the people she's lost.
